Midori Banjin: Chaotic Mayhem Act I

Please read first!
This is just a “What If” story and not really part of the main story arc. I just wrote this to get a feel of the character and situation. If you guys enjoy it, I will continue on. If not then thank you for at least checking it out. As you will notice I am changing Midori’s name because Midori Banjin in Japanese means Green Savage. Which originally is the title of this series and since I found a good name for the main character, she will be known as Haruka Tanaka.

It was the annual Science Expo in Tokyo, Japan and both Senji and Haruka were attending. Haruka was not into all this science stuff and found it very boring, but it was something Senji loved to do. After weeks of hard school work and testing, Haruka agreed that he needed to get out more. Even if he is in consent danger, he could not be locked up at home for the rest of his life. So as his guardian she agreed to let him go, as his bodyguard, she will be dammed if she let him go there alone.

Haruka was in a three button long sleeve red blouse, business black skirt with matching belt and matching black flats. She knew she would do a lot of walking and standing so might as well put comfort first and keep a low profile at the same time.
As they gotten their badges, she could not help but smile at Senji as he looked very happy and excited to see all the new gadgets and stuff. As the third smartest person in the world, it was good to see him not lurking in a dark room working on his computer all the time. As they entered into the expo, her smile quickly faded as she took a stern serious look. Using her heightened sight and hearing she was on guard at all times as Senji enjoyed himself. Hours later he felt hungry and they stopped at a food court. Haruka made sure they had a table near the corner wall. This way if trouble arise, she can Hulk-Out and crash through the wall to escape. She had a rule never to fight unless it’s a last resort because of the whole Hulk attack in Japan three years ago. The last thing she ever wants is to have Senji in danger from extremists like the Hulk Busters or a rogue mutant.

"Thank you for letting me comes here Miss. Tanaka" said Senji as he was eating his burger.

Haruka just nodded as she kept watch.

"Are you sure you are not hungry?" He asked concerned.

She shook her head as she remained vigilant. Senji felt awkward whenever she was like this. He understood why, just he wished at times that she can talk to him casually like at home or school. Going out in public places like this made her too focus on work and at times turned into a complete stranger.  He wishes at times he never invented the Nanos and just have fun like a normal teenager. Where he could have fun with Haruka by going out and relax without fear.

After finishing his meal they got up and headed back into the expo. He let her know that wanted to see one more exhibit before going home. She agreed and they walked quietly by the  displays. Senji stopped to notice a small robot and pointed it out to her.

"Hey, this just looks like that one for the old sci-fi show. You know says beaty all the time?"

Haruka did not even look as she just agreed with him. Senji resigned himself to the fact that it just wasn't fun like this and gave up and turned the other way.

On second thought, let just head home. He said in a saddened tone, which this caused Haruka to quickly snap out of her work mode.  

"What? No!" She rushes in front of him and puts her hands together in apology.

"I am sorry Senji! I did it again! Please, forgive me! You were looking forward to this all weekend and the last thing I wanted to do was to spoil it!"

Like a switch, Haruka turned to her old sweet self as she was truly sorry for hurting his feelings. Senji could not help how cute she looked and could not be mad at her for doing her job.

"Okay, only if you promise me to be Miss Tanaka and not your bodyguard self."

"Deal, just you and me. I promise!" She smiled happily as he forgave her.

Senji eyes filled with joy and began to walk back towards the exhibit with Haruka in close tow.

"So Senji, what kind of exhibit is it?" Hakura asked trying to show some interest now.

"It’s an Impulse Generator that can conduct power to take out air drones or missiles. If it does work as it should, then I can add it as part of your Hulk abilities." He explained.

Haruka heart started to sink a bit.

"Senji, you know I do not like to be a weapon." She said with with regret.

Senji stopped and turned to her.

"Yes I know, but one day there will be a time you have to fight and I just want you to be ready." Senji looks out the window seeing the nice twilight sky view. And if that happens I want you to be as strong as you can be so we can both be safe...

Haruka heart skipped from the whole scene and from his words. This was something she always liked about him. Even though he is young and a bit of a crybaby, there are moments like this when he showed what a kind and caring young man he was. However these moments were quickly ruined when she knew that she could never get into a romantic relationship with him. Sure there were only 8 years apart in age, but he is still so young and afraid that if S.H.I.E.L.D. or the school found out he is a genius, they will take him away. Something she knew he could not bear with since was alone in the world except for her. So she had to lock away her feelings for him and be his friend and bodyguard instead of something more.

Suddenly her train of thought was thought was interrupted by the sound of a loud humming sound and people running and screaming out of the exhibit they were heading towards. Without any hesitation Haruka moved at super speed grabbing Senji, spinning him around and using her back to shield him from anything that might harm him.

*POP!*A nearby light bulb suddenly exploded sharply.

They ran away from a light bulb? Haruka said in a confused tone. Then suddenly a burst of electricity pulsed out of the room and a wave of energy hit both of them.

Then nothing...

Haruka let go of him and quickly checked him over to see if was okay. Senji assured her that he was fine and she let out a sigh of relief. As they headed down to see what happened. Haruka's body suddenly jerked and a wave of pain washed over her body. Moaning in pain, Senji ran over to her trying to figure out what was the matter.

"I think I'm starting to change Senji!" She managed to mutter.

"What? How? You should be able to control it?" he said in confusion.

"It's definitely happening. I will try to stop it. I did i t before." She gasped in effort.

"What? When? Why didn't you tell me this before?" Scolded Senji but then noticed that they were out in the open. Any one of the people around them could witness Haruka's incredible change and then they would be in big trouble.
Haruka grunted and gripped her head. "So-something's wrong...it Feels...Different?" she muttered through her clenched teeth.

"Miss Tanaka, are you okay?" Senji asked as he looked around for only a moment but then turned back when he heard Haruka straining to speak.

The world started to spin around Haruka as she felt her muscles tighten, signaling the start of a transformation. She quickly tried to steady herself against the nearest wall as Senji noticed her struggling.

"Miss Tanaka are you okay?" he asked again. He approached her with a very concerned look on his face.

Suddenly Haruka's head snapped up, revealing her eyes to Senji. He gasped as noticed that instead of the normal bright green eyes, Haruka’s eyes where now bright purple instead!

"It’s.....happening and…and I cannot control it!"

Haruka managed to let out those words after letting out a soft sultry moan. Which made Senji blush.  

Within her body, the Nano-bots lay dormant as gamma cells started to mutate and reform her DNA once again. Adrenaline started to pump in her veins as Haruka felt her body surge with an energy. Her heart started to pound faster and faster as if it was going to burst out of her chest, causing her knees to buckle and her to stumble towards the floor, only to be caught by Senji mid-way.

"Miss Tanaka!" Senji shouted in panic as he is both scared and confused on what is happening to his friend.

Haruka could feel something deep within her mind trying to surface. Something devious, something that was a part of her personality that she never dared to show in front of Senji. She tried everything in her power to keep it in, to suppress it. She continued desperately to fight the change as her hands balled into fists and tried to calm down by taking deep breaths. However each breath she took sounded sultrier to the point of sexual to Senji’s ears.

Without thinking, Senji instinctively held Haruka closer. She was both scared and unsure  about what to do as the whole situation was new to him. He'd never seen her like this before let alone heard her make sounds like this before. Then suddenly it dawned upon him.

Impulse Generator!

Senji realized that the pulse the machine given off had caused the Nanos in her bloodstream to shut down causing her the gamma radiated cells to go into full mutation, the very thing that the Nanos tried to prevent. Senji’s face turned pale as he feared that she would end up like the Hulk, a rampaging murdering monster. Looking around he knew he needed to clear the science expo before her transformation was complete. The last thing he wanted was more innocent people to get hurt. Spotting a fire alarm, he dragged Haruka with him to the alarm and quickly pulled on it.  Fire alarms ranged though out the expo halls as people at first looked confused, then started to race towards the exits.

After pulling the alarm, he dragged her away from the oncoming crowds and noticed a door just around the corner. Thankfully it was unlocked and went inside with Haruka in tow.

"It will be okay Miss Tanaka. Whatever happens, I will never leave your side. I owe you that much." he promised.

Then suddenly, he heard a voice. It was soft, low and almost memorizing. It had a sultry tone, yet playful side that gave him Goosebumps.

"Oh my dear and sweet Senji, why can't you ever call me by my first name?"

Senji looked down at noticed the voice was coming from Haruka, only to noticed that she was looking up at him with her rich purple hued eyes and giving him dangerous seductive look that cause his heart to skip a beat. A familiar feeling he had before when they first met, yet didn't understand why.

Seeing as there was no use fighting the change, Haruka pushed him away from her and stumbled towards the back wall before leaning against it for support. Whatever this was inside of her, it was coming out regardless. She knew she had said something to Senji, but could not hear what she was saying. Her mind was slipping, fading into darkness. She begged whatever  was inside her not to hurt Senji. Pleading to the point of tears as she did not want to see someone she cared about be once again alone. Flashbacks of seeing him back at the base with his father filled her mind as she remembered his cold sad eyes after losing all his family members. Having no one care for him other than his father, who was busy trying to save the world from the rampaging World Breaker Hulk. With his father gone, she was all that he had left and she did not want to leave him alone again, she didn't want to lose control and most of all hurt the one she loved so much.

"Oh honey, you need to stop with the dramatics." Said the sultry voice within her head and then continued. "I will not hurt the poor knucklehead. I will give him a very interesting show though. Something you'd never dare to do. Tee Hee!"

Haruka suddenly knew what this voice was. She knew what this thing was and went into a panic. Trying to put up on last mental fight as she tried her hardest to not let it dominate her body, but it was no use. What seemed to be minutes to her were just a few seconds to Senji.

Her hands that were pressed against the wall started to grow as her finger lengthened and drove themselves like bolt drivers into the wall causing a web of cracks. She then started to dig her hands in deeper into the wall and then ripped out two handfuls of plaster and crashed them into the ground next to her. She let out a sigh of contentment as though she had enjoyed the damaged she caused.

"No no no! Please! Senji does not need to see more destruction, he has been though too much! He does not need this much mayhem in his life! Please!" Haruka begged within her own mind.

"I think you need to take a break miss goodie two shoes. Time for me to take over! Time to have some fun!" Said the dominant personality in reply and then turned to Senji only to flash a smile at him.

"Time for you to meet Mayhem!" She said out loud.

"May...Mayhem?" Senji said in confusion.

"Finally! You fucking said my first name!" as she said with glee then quickly pointed at him.
"Do not move from that spot. If you do I will not only destroy this place, but kill every worthless maggot in this Expo. You hear me little man?"
Senji quickly nodded as he never heard Haruka talk or demand that way before in his life. Her forceful presence and demeanor quickly overpowered him.

Mayhem then relaxed her arm as her hair pink hair suddenly took on a purple tone. Her chest started to puff out a bit as two white buttons on her blouse popped off and landed on the floor. Her  aggressive demeanor suddenly changed and was replaced with a mischievous yet playful look.

"Good boy... Now then, I know that Haruka  would never let you see her Hulk-Out because you are too young, but today I think you deserve it. She said with a devious playful smile and then continued. "So enjoy the show!"

Mayhem closed her eyes and started to take a few deep breaths. At first nothing happened, but then her transformation started to kick in. The soft moans that Senji once heard started to return as she forced the change to continue.

The first  thing that Senji noticed first was Haruka’s chest, which  grew one size larger and started to push out once again, becoming a fuller-looking bust. Then her neck grew thicker while her shoulder muscles rose and became more prominent. Next were her arms as that started expanding, her deltoids and biceps fleshing out with more muscle and started to tear though the red long sleeves. Her triceps pushed out as well while her forearms grew thicker popping the buttons off her cuffs.

Her thighs and calves started to became bigger and stronger as they started to take a fine shapely tone, filling out the long black skirt to its limits.

Mayhems breathing started to get quicker as drops of sweat ran down her face. Senji  could see she was really enjoying herself as her soft peach skin started to turn green, her abs turning into a fine athletic tone that could be seen pressing against her tight torn blouse.  Her feet started to grow as the toes tore out of the front black flats with ease then the rest of the leather ripped and tore around the rest of the foot as her size 6 feet grew to a size 9. However her left shoe was more resistant causing her to look down and gave it very angrily look. She picked up her left foot and slammed it so hard into the floor that the concrete broke and collapsed inwards around her foot and cause the flat to burst into tatters. Her belt buckle can be heard screaming as the metal fought hard against the leather strap, only to burst from the pressure in the end.

Mayhem then looked at Senji with a very seductive look.

"Enjoying it so far hon?" She asked him sensually

Senji gave her a very slow nod while he looked like a deer in headlights. He  had never realized that Haruka's transformation was this intense, let alone this much of a strip tease.

"Good. I'm... Almost done honey…So sit back and enjoy the finale!" She said as she let out another moan at the same time causing the back skirt to rip along the side seems that dropped off her now revealing long and powerful legs as if she was showing them off to Senji for his enjoyment. The last stitch of the skirt finally popped and caused the skirt to drop around her feet. With the transformation coming to an end, Mayhems panting had slowed down and had become more like deep breathing. Her purple like hair grew dark black tone at the same time the remaining purple started to take shape of horns. Two hairs ends also to shape in the back to form two hair like horns as her ears started to become pointy, almost elven like.

Senji looked in awe as the transformation was now over. The once fun sweet and kind Haruka Tanaka was now gone, replaced by a  7 foot something tall green hulk like woman with purple and black hair smiling at him as if she has something very dirty in mind. Stepping out from the destroyed skirt, Mayhem started to seductively saunter towards Senji. He could not help but notice how her hips swing from side to side, causing him to gulp as he never experience such an amazingly beautiful woman with so much sexual presence and such a dominating aura.  

"M-M-Miss. Tanaka, is that you?" Senji stuttered out

Suddenly and without warning her fist came flying towards the side of his head and smashed into the wall with inhuman force and strength!

Senji slammed his eyes shut extremely tight and then screamed in fear. "I'M SORRY I MEANT TO SAY MAYHEM, MAYHEM!"

She let out a small smirk of enjoyment.

"I am very offended now... Maybe I should turn this dump into a pile of rubble?"

Senji eyes widen and looked at her with a concerned look on his face.

"NO!" then suddenly pulled back his words.

"I mean, Please, Don't kill anyone. Take me instead. Just spare everyone else here!" he begged desperately.

Senji was beside himself when he said that. He was never the heroic or suicidal  type to begin with.  However he could never forget how much destruction and death the last hulk caused, let along the Hydra Hulk that took away his father. The last thing he wanted was for Haruka to be killed like the other two. She meant so much to him as he did to her, and if he could stop this woman in front of him from killing innocent people, then it will be worth the sacrifice.

"Do not worry hon, I will make your death quick and painless." she smiled.

"Please don’t!" Senji said in a quick and instinctive reaction and then thought to himself "SHIT! WHY THE HELL DID I SAY THAT? She is going to kill everyone now!"

Mayhem could not hold it in anymore. She suddenly burst out laughing.

"Oh my sweet Senji. This is why I- lo....I mean I find you so adorable. That face you made was priceless!"

Senji face quickly turned into anger.

"That was not funny! I thought you really were going to kill everyone!"

She pulled back her fist and dusted her knuckles and then looks back at Senji.

"I'm sorry hon. I was only teasing you."

Senji crosses his arms feeling very embarrassed and upset then continued. "And another thing is why do you keep calling me hon? I mean I dont mind it, but Miss Tanaka never says that and-"

Senji stopped mid-sentence as he suddenly felt her soft lips on the side of his cheek. He jumped back in shock as Mayhem lets out another mischievous giggle.

"D-Don’t laugh at me! W-w-what was that for?"

"To hear that cute stammer of yours hon."

Senji face was bright red in embarrassment. Normally was calm collected and in control when Haruka was around, but the first time in his life he felt  like he was out-of-control and didn't  know what to say or do in these situations. He had never experienced anyone, let alone a woman who was so chaotic like this. This woman, who looked and sounded like Haruka yet had a complete and different personality that may or may not be evil, however he snapped out of it as both he and Mayhem noticed that the fire alarm had stopped. Senji then took a few deep breaths to focus himself as he pulled out his tablet. He started to run a scan of the Nanos to see just what had happened. As he was doing this Mayhem started to lean against Senji and he was starting to feel uncomfortable. Mayhem then purposely leaned in closer as she pretended to read the small screen as her cheeks pressed against his, while he could feel one of her breasts up against his back. This caused him to stop for a moment as he realized something.

"I...never knew they were this soft-" Senji began then stopped himself and shook his head to snap out of it as Mayhem giggled to herself.

Senji tried to stay focused as the diagnostics information on the Nanos came up on screen and he began to realize what had happened.

"Well, looks like the Nanos are active, but dormant. however they are in the process in rebooting. The bad news is that they will not reform you clothing. So I'll have to come up with a way to get you out of here without you being seen."

Mayhem seemed to ignore everything he said as she was too busy humming with joy as she rubbed her cheeks against his in a playful matter.

"Mayhem, you need to focus here. We need to get you home without being seen!" Senji protested.

"So what?"

"Damn it Mayhem, You don't understand! As of now you are giving out too much Gamma radiation. The Nanos helped prevent you being picked up by the Hulk Busters!"

"And?"

"And if they get here they will try to kill you!"

"Don't sweat it  hon. I'm a big girl who can take care of her self!"

Senji started to get very frustrated at this point as he turned around to face her and yelled "NO ITS NOT FINE! YOU NEE-"

Senji stopped as he realized how close he was to Mayhem's face. So close that their lips were just a very short distance away. His heart skipped again, as warm feeling came over him. The longer he looked into her eyes, the more he felt attracted to her. Mayhem however did not move an inch as she was still in the bent over pose with her hands on her hips just like a moment ago. She just stood there giving out a soft warm smile, yet still giving him a sultry look as if she was daring him to come closer.

Senji blushed as he wanted to run away in fear. It was too much for him, yet a part of him wanted to lean closer, wanted to know what a kiss really felt like? What if he was a bad kisser? What if she was to use her tongue? The poor teen was in turmoil  as his mind raced with questions and doubt. Then something happened. The world around him suddenly slowed down. All he could hear is his heart beat pounding though his ears as he could see Mayhem leaning closer and closer until they could both feel their breath on each other’s lips. Then suddenly...

"GET DOWN!"

Senji snapped out of his trance and and suddenly he was on the floor as Mayhem  covered him protectively with her body. Then there was a loud explosion and smoke and debris filled up the small room. Mayhem lifted herself up a bit to see if he was okay and made a quick visual check. Senji was coughing from the smoke, but managed to let Mayhem know he was okay. Giving a sigh of relief, she turned to see several troopers and a large Exo-Suit coming into view. It was the Hulk Busters and she knew then that Senji was right and they had found her by locking on to Mayhem's Gamma radiation signature.

"There's the bitch! Open fire!" yelled one of the troopers as  the sounds of gunfire filled the room.

Mayhem covered Senji again as the bullets bounced off her back,shielding him from harm. As she was getting hit, Senji could see her getting very angry, to the point that her eyes started to shine with fury. Mayhem then quickly snapped out of it when as she heard Senji saying something to her with her enhanced hearing.

"I don't care if your Mayhem or Haruka, I still love you. But I beg you not to kill anyone. Please?"

Mayhem face suddenly went blank and she just stood there blinking a few times in disbelief as she took in what he'd said. Something inside her felt funny, as if a small part of her felt overjoyed with happiness. Then without knowing it, she slowly nodded in agreement. Senji smiled and braced himself to run. Mayhem snapped out of it as she noticed him ready to get himself to safety, then smiled back and got herself ready.

Once the gunfire stopped, all of cloth on her back was gone and parts of her hair. The Nanos could not restore her clothing like they normally did, but they had enough power to return her hair back to normal. She sat up and let out a small humph as she tossed her hair back casually to show that their weapons did nothing to harm her. Normally, Hakura would have grabbed Senji and made their escape rather than fight. The Hulk-Busters were hell-bent on destroying any Gamma-Mutant that was unlucky enough to cross their path but they had little regard for the destruction they caused or the casualties they left in their wake. And in her normal state of mind she would have preferred to prevent any more damage. However Mayhem wanted to fight, she was sick of running and in her mind she was an unstoppable force and wanted to show them that there were consequences for fighting a Hulk. She turned to face them with her hands on her hips and her chest sticking out while and giving them a very seductive look.

"Okay boys, who’s first?"

"Everyone, reload! Sergeant, fire the particle cannon!“ Ordered the Hulk Buster captain as the Exo-Suit came to life and moved into position taking aim Mayhem.

"Aw, that's so cute. “Smiled Mayhem and then continued. You're actually going to try and fight back!

Within the Exo-Suit the pilot growled in anger and quickly opened fire at her.  The yellow hued beams roared towards Mayhem, only for her to dodge at last second at breath taking speed. The beam continued past her to demolish the wall behind her while Mayhem rushed towards her attackers zig-zagging to avoid their fire.

"Shit!" Swore one of the troopers as he fired at her in a panic though he'd been trained for this he'd never encountered a Hulk that was so quick on her feet. Before he knew it, she'd caught him by the collar and had lifted up into the air with ease. Mayhem flashed a devilish smile at the now helpless trooper.

"Boss battle!!" Cheered Mayhem as she flung the trooper into the Exo-Suit. With a hard Thud the trooper crashed into the Exo-Suit causing it to lose balance as the trooper fell onto the floor in a painful moan.  She them grabbed the next Trooper and repeated the process.

"This isn't a video game Mayhem!" Yelled Senji in concern wondering how she could be treating this life or death situation like a game.

"But its fun!" Cooed Mayhem exuberantly

One of the female troopers dropped her emptied rifle and quickly pulled out a pistol and fired at Mayhem at point blank range. The bullets harmlessly bounced off her green skin with no effect until the clip of the pistol was empty. The female Trooper defiantly attempted to pistol whip her in the face, which once again had no effect on the mighty green amazon.



"You done? Good!" said Mayhem as she grabbed the Troopers arm and with a quick and power twist broke her arm. The female Trooper screamed in pain as Mayhem turned back towards Senji with a smile.

"See? I'm not killing anyone!" she said impishly before grabbing the screaming trooper and throwing her at the Exo-Suit, knocking it off-balance once more.

Senji face palmed himself in disbelief and sighed, she was actually right but this wasn't what he'd had in mind.

Mayhem giggled at his reaction before turning back to the fight.

"This this isn't Midori Banjin we're dealing with! It’s a demon!” yelled one trooper in a total panic.

"Wait, didn't Midori Banjin have pink and black hair instead of purple?" questioned the other trooper.

"It doesn't matter what hair color she has, she's a Hulk and must be destroyed! Now shut up and open fire!" Ordered the captain trying to regain control of the situation.

Mayhem rushed forward again at super human speed as the Troopers resumed their fire with as much effect as before. She disarmed one of the troopers near her with ease and bent the gun into a U-shape before tossing it to one side. She then grabbed him by the neck and spun around slamming him into a nearby wall. There was a moment of silence which was broken by the sound of the drywall cracking as it gave into the Trooper’s body. Then she quickly pulled him off the wall and tossed him against the Exo-Suit so hard that it finally collapsed onto the floor.  

"Round 2!"Mayhem cheered in excitement.

"IT IS NOT A VIDEO GAME!" shouted Senji still unable to believe she wasn't taking this fight seriously.
The last trooper remaining observed the situation consumed by fear and made the wise choice dropping his weapon ran screaming out of the hall. The Pilot of the Exo-Suit decides to follow in the example of his brother in arms. He exited the suit and started to run in the same direction as his comrade without looking back. The Captain, now alone was furious that not one of his men had stayed behind to apprehend this monster. As he turned to face Mayhem, he was shocked that see that she was ignoring him. She was embroiled in an argument with Senji.

"Now I get to loot roll!" she declared in triumph.

"Damn it Mayhem, They’re not carrying gold or magical weapons that you can use” countered Senji irritably.

"I'm not stupid Senji. I know they don't have anything like that, but look at the cute mecha! We can take it home and then you can mod it up and use it to fight alongside me in battles. It'll be so awesome! “She said with a wink.

Senji was about to offer a rebuttal but then thought about what she'd said and stopped.

"Well I could repaint it and put in some upgrades of my own and maybe “He said thoughtfully.

Senji was just envisioning himself and Hakura fighting side by side when he suddenly noticed that the Exo-Suit was standing up and aiming it's particle beam cannon at Mayhem. She noticed it's  recovery and casually looked over giving it a smug look.

"You think you’re so tough bitch? Well let's see if you'll keep that smug face after I do this!" The Captain bellowed as he shifted his aim towards Senji. The arm canon started to power up but just before it could fire on the helpless teen, Mayhem shoulder tackled the Exo-Suit causing it to topple to the ground once again. However even as Mayhem's charge brought the mecha down the cannon fired missing Senji but hitting the wall directly behind him. The force of the blast was so powerful that it threw him forward several feet into the air before he landed face down on the floor. He was clearly hurt as he gave out a dreadful moan of pain. Blood began to flow from a wound in his left arm where a piece of debris had been driven by the blast. Meanwhile Mayhem quickly got to her feet and shook her head to clear it from the loud roar of the cannon. As her head cleared she quickly looked around for Senji, only to spot him nearby motionless. Her eyes widened as her heart seemed to stop; fear and horror paralyzed her as she stared at the sprawled figure of the one person who meant more than anything in the world to her.

Then the world was silent. She didn't even hear or see the Exo-Suit fist coming right towards her, punching her so hard that she flew into the air and crashed onto the floor. She just lay there motionless as she looked towards Senji.

"Wake up” she said softly within her mind.

"Senji, please...wake up" she said again.

Meanwhile the Captain was standing over Mayhem and started to repeatedly drive the fist of the Exo-suit into Mayhem's head. So hard that each hit was causing her head to sink deeper into the concrete floor.

"Not so tough now are you big green bitch!" the Captain yelled in victorious spite.

Mayhem didn't even hear him or feel his attacks. She only felt sorrow and regret as she continued to watch Senji as he faded from her view.

"Wake up please...wake up..."she pleaded.

"Without you...I'm..."her thoughts trailed off as she started to lose consciousness the blows driving her face deeper so she could no longer see him. As she drifted into the darkness, she abandoned all hope to live. If Senji was gone there was no point in living. Just then her mind played back what Senji had said to her before.

"I don't care if your Mayhem or Haruka, I will always love you."

She started to feel something deep inside her start to burn. She could hear her heart beat begin to beat like a war drum. The feeling of her body kicking ino high gear as something within her regained the will to live. Her fingers started to twitch.

Then she could hear a soft but demanding voice within her.

"Fight” it said.

"Get up and fight” it said louder.

"Fight to save Senji!” it roared.

The Captain stopped his attack to see Mayhem's body lying there motionless. He felt a profound sense of victory as he started to walk away and report in to the others outside that the Hulk was now dead.  However his victory was cut short as the monitors within his display view suddenly lit up like a Christmas tree. It was the Gamma Radiation readings, and they were going off the chart. His eyes opened wide in shock, the last time he'd seen readings like this was when the World Breaker Hulk came to Tokyo and caused so much death and destruction. Worst of all the readings were showing it was coming from behind him!

"Wait, could it be the boy? Is he a Hulk too?” he thought in panic as he quickly turned around and aimed his arm cannon back onto Senji.

"No it's..." The Captain's display was now showing signs of extreme danger as the readings showed that the radiation was not coming from Senji, but from Mayhem instead!

Mayhem's body was glowing bright green with gamma energy. The last bit of her clothing burned away as she started to get up. The Captain watched in awe as this woman he assumed he'd killed was now getting up. Snarls and growls like some kind of wild animal filled the room as she slowly got up to her feet. Her back still facing him, he could see the monster shake off the concrete bits off her head and hair. Then she raised her powerful arms into the air as a burst of green light filled the room and blinding the captain.

For a moment, there was only silence. Then a moment later it was broken as a loud thunderous roar was heard. As the light faded, the Captains vision started to return, only for him to see Mayhem standing in front of him, her eyes glowing an intense shade of bright green and her body now covered in a sexy one-piece costume. He quickly raised his arm cannon at her, only to stopped and grabbed by her mid-way. She ripped the arm cannon off at the base of the shoulder and then swung it like a baseball back into him. The force of the blow was so strong that it knocked him backwards through several walls and sent him skidding into the exhibit hall destroying several booths in his wake. The Captain was shocked to see such power being used against him when mere moment before she'd been all but beaten. Alarms went off within the suit as pop-up displays registering damage and warnings came into view. Trying to correct the problems, his heart stopped as he heard another roar. He looked up to see Mayhem coming towards him at full speed. He was frozen in fear as this female fury rushed at him and then tackled him back down into the floor doing even more damage to the suit. He tried to swing at her with the still operational right arm of the suit, hitting her hard as he could to the side of her face. Instead of knocking her off him she withstood it as if it was nothing to her. The captain continued to punch her but she did not even flinch at each blow. She growled as she was very annoyed by his resistance and stopped the punch with her hands and then ripped the Exo Suit arm clear off and tossed it to the side like it was a  plastic toy and not a piece of multi-million yen equipment. She then climbed on top of the Exo-Suit and started to punch the front armor of the suit in rapid succession. Loud thuds could be heard echoing though the empty expo main hall as her punches started to form dents, then cracks in the suits armoring. The Captain whose suit was now motionless realized that it was about to become his coffin. He tried to use the ejection system, but it was damaged from the last few blows. Large tears of terror filled his eyes as he could feel the forces of each punch getting stronger and stronger. The armor was  slowly crushing him causing him to scream in pain, but the raging Mayhem did not care. She continued her assault as the front of the armor started to twist and distort. Sounds of bending metal and cracking plastics could be heard as sparks filled the air. The Captain begged for mercy, pleading for her to stop until he could feel his ribs crack from the pressure of the armor collapsing in. Blood shot out from his mouth as he continued to helplessly plea. However Mayhem was in a berserker state, she ignored his pleas caring nothing for this cruel excuse of a man. All she wanted to do was to crush him, to cause him a painful and a slow death for taking the person who she cared the most about, her beloved Senji. She growled in fury as each blow of her fist caused a burst of power that could be seen jetting out between her fist and the Exo-Suit armor.

"Please stop...Haruka"

Mayhem suddenly stopped as she heard a familiar voice with her super hearing. She turned to see Senji barely holding himself near the hole in the wall that the Exo-Suit created a few feet back. Seeing him alive, her anger started to die down as the green crackling energy started to fade.

"Sen..ji..."She said in a low guttural voice.

"Yes Haruka, I'm alright..." He said with a weak smile and continued, "Please...Let's go home"

Her heart skipped for joy and for good reason. In all the time she had known him, he'd never used her first name once or told her that he loved her. Yet she was just as hesitant to confess her feeling toward him as well, due to her fears and doubts, she knew she could never dare say such things at this present time.

"Haruka and Senji huh? Is that your boyfriend?” said the Captain within the suit who seemed to have regained his confidence when Mayhem ceased her attack. "So that's your real name. Good! As soon as I get out of here it'll be only a matter of time before we find you again and hunt you and that kid down. Speaking of which, what is he? 15? Man you sure like to rock that cradle you cougar!"

Mayhem turned back around to face him and slammed her hands into the face plate of the Exo-Suit. The captain could the metal bending and tearing as her fingers dig into the suit and ripped the face plate clean off and tossed it into the air. The Captain only responded by smirking at her.

"Too late lady...I Already figured you out. You won't kill me a long as he's alive."

Mayhem just smiled and responded back as her eyes turned into a brown colored state.

"My name is Haruka Tanaka, I am 25 years of age. I was a Combat Medic to the former military group called The Exiled Orphans. My call sign was Nightingale. I retired to become a High School Nurse and guardian to Senji Hyoudou, who I love very dearly.  His father gave the power of the Hulk to me so I could protect him and defend him from assholes like you. Yes, it's true that my mission is not to kill, so consider yourself lucky."

The Captain blinked a few times in disbelief from what he just heard.

"Wha..why would you tell me all this? Are you that suicidal?"

Mayhem shook her head.

"Oh no, no, no. You're not getting it. You see I told you all this for a reason. And now that you know our secret, I have to do something that you may not like. As you know, I am a combat medic. I know how the body works inside and out. Even though I will not kill, I can however with my medical knowledge and the power of this form give you a severe head trauma that will put you to a vegetative state or retardation for life."
The captain's eye grew wide in fear.

"NO WAIT FORGET WHAT I SAID! I KNOW NOTHING I KN-"

The Captain's last words fell short as Mayhem delivered a blow to the side of his head so hard, that it caused his skull to break and his brain to swell. His eyes rolled back into his head as he went into a catatonic state.  After checking his pulse, to make sure he was still alive Mayhem climbed off him and walked towards Senji. During the time she'd been dealing with the Captain, Senji had fainted, so he never saw on she did to him.

After a quick patch to stop the bleeding to his arm, she transformed back into Haruka, but retained her striking purple hair. The Nanos were working again as they formed a new outfit over her consisting of a red open vest with silver buttons with matching skirt that had a large slit on the left side showing her leg and  a black strapless top and red short heeled shoes. She grabbed Senji and made their way to the exit. She was able to get past the authorities and military by acting like survivors of the hulk attack.

Senji woke up feeling very weak and in pain. He looked around to see that he was back at home and lying on the couch. He saw that his injured arm was bandaged up and the other arm had a fluid line going into it. He then noticed a hand lying on his chest. He looked up to see it belonged to Haruka. His head was resting on her lap and she was fast asleep. He was glad to see that she was safe, but noticing her peculiar purple hair he guessed that she was still in this new 'Mayhem' persona. But he was far too sleepy to worry about that now as his eyes began to feel heavy and he fell back to sleep.
